New! Singing Workshops for Dulcimer Players and other Instrumentalists!
A. Let Your Voice Soar I Beginner Level: This workshop series is for those who want to gain confidence through knowledge of basic technique and singing in tune strategies. If you feel you don't sing in-tune (or aren't sure), this class will offer strategies for working on tuning through ear training and singing techniques.
Technique topics include phrasing, breath flow and management, energizing your voice, singing smoothly, and an introduction to choosing songs. No solo singing required!

Length: 6 weeks of 1 hour per week
Where: on Zoom
Price: $85
Minimum participants for class to make: 5
Recording: If all members of the group are comfortable with me recording the class, then those will become available to anyone who has to miss a class.
B. Let Your Voice Soar Intermediate Level: If you are looking for some help with singing technique and choosing songs to sing with your instrument and already feel confident about your ability to sing in tune and have had some singing instruction through choir or private lessons but want more technique and help picking songs and keys, then this is the class for you. No solo singing required, just encouraged.
Topics will include finding your range, tessitura, and transition zones in the voice, and picking songs accordingly. Participants will learn how to choose the best keys for their voices for particular songs. Instrumentalists will receive tips about singing while playing.

Platform
The sessions will all take place on Zoom. I will send you a Zoom invite from my Google Calendar. Equipment needed is the same as for QuaranTune workshops. There are a few helpful tips that will make it easier for singing on Zoom that I will provide in an email once the schedule is determined.
